The Gateron 3.0 Silent Purple Tactile Switch is the new tactile variant of the KS-9 Silent 3.0 series and was specially developed for users who want to combine noticeable feedback with the lowest possible noise. In contrast to classic tactile switches, the new Silent 3.0 construction significantly reduces both bottom-out and top-out noise without losing the characteristic tactile feel. This creates a very controlled, pleasant typing experience with a clearly defined bump, ideal for office setups, shared spaces, or quiet high-end custom keyboards. The new generation also improves housing stability, lubrication consistency, and rebound through a revised dual-stage spring design.
